Wow My son is 2 years old and where did the time go. We had a great time celebrating Blake's birthday this weekend. We had family and extended family over to celebrate in a back yard cookout. The theme was Disney's car which is Blake's favorite. Jerrad and I could not thank you enough for everyone who came to celebrate this once in a lifetime event. Blake's day started out with breakfast in bed. On special occasions my mom would make me breakfast in bed. Either pancakes or her special egg mcmuffin sandwhich. It was one of the traditions that I wanted to do with my own children. Jerrad worked very hard this day to put up the tents (thank you Eric and Megan and Auntie Kim and Dave) and the bounce house. My grandparents came up from Vero and we thank you for making that trip up, it meant alot to us. Also my dad drove my grandparents down to make the event and I greatly appreciate him doing that so Blake's could have 2 sets of Great grandparents in attendance. You never understand how fast time goes by until you have children. Blake's birhtday was a gentle reminder to cherish every moment you have with your children, because it goes by in a blink of the eye. Mom and Daddy love you Blakester Happy 2nd Birthday.

Busy week and weekend

It is hard to believe that Reese will be 7 months this coming week and my little boy is turning 2. This coming Saturday is his 2nd birthday party. I am not sure where the time has gone. It should be fun with all of Blake's aunties, grandparents and great grandparents spoiling him next weekend. There are so many things that happened this past week. Reese is doing a great job eating and has moved to Stage 2. She was on her knees rocking and rolling this weekend. Blake had tons of fun playing with Ella and Grace. Grace is incredible with Reese and you can just tell that one day she will be the best mommy. Blake did suffer his first blakc eye at granny's this week luckily his 2 year old pictures are not until this coming Sunday. blake received his favorite (books) for his birthday from Uncle Clay and Andra. Reese and Blake received some great Ohi o State gear from Aunt Ann and Uncle Bill. Well that is about all for now. Oh one more thing. Congratulation to Emily and Daniel on their new arrival we are so excited for you. That is all for now. Love The Butlers

2nd b-day surprise.

Though it is a couple weeks away we decided we needed to check and see if Blake's b-day present was okay. With his party coming up we did not want to find out the day of the party that is had a defect. Needless to say we got it up and everything is great. A little smaller than I thought it was going to be, but Blake loved it and had a blast and even shared with his sister.

Future drummer

Blake has always loved music from the start. When I was pregnant with blake I would have him hooked up to my ipod during certain therapy sessions so he did not hear some of the students I worked with. Since Jerrad received his rock band Blake has been obssessed with the drums. everything Jerrad plays Blake takes his position at the drums and rocks out. Hopefully we will have video for you soon. It is just toooo cute. At the end of every song he raises the drumsticks over his heads and yells yeahhhhhhh!
