Christmas afternoon

Christmas Afternoon we were back at our house and had 2 sets of grandparents and 2 sets of great grandparents over for dinner. There are so many things to be thankful for this Christmas. Jerrad and I have been blessed with 2 beautiful children after years of trying and 3 infertility doctors. We could not have gotten this far without Dr. Littel and Dr. Trolice. We were thankful that Blake and Reese could have christmas dinner with 2 sets of grandparents and 2 sets of great grandparents. Not many children get to say that. I am extremly blessed that I was able to get a photo of 4 generations of Harley women. The greatest gift this Christmas was sitting down at dinner with the whole family present. I could not have asked for anything more. God bless you and your family and Happy New Year.

Christmas morning at Great Grandma & Grandpa Armstrong

Christmas morning we went to Grandma Dona's bright and early. Blake had a blast with Papa and Grandma, great grandma and great grandpa Armstrong and his great Aunt and Uncle.

Christmas eve

Christmas eve we went over to the Granny and Papa Butler's for a Prime Rib dinner and to open presents. Reese loved her first purse and Blake had a great time with his airport and cars. Below are some of the pictures from that night.

Trip to Kentucky

On thanksgiving night we received word that Dot Dot had been airlifted to Lexington. They next Thursday we drove up to see her and so she could meet her new great granddaughter. It was very cold in KY and Blake was able to see his first snow fall.

Aunt Ann and Uncle Bill made a special trip from Ohio to see Blake and Reese. They bought Blake a Red Wagon that he absolutely loves. He wanted us to take him all around the house that day with him riding in the wagon. He had a blast playing with Aunt Ann as the picture below shows. Thank you for the great gifts and for making a 5 hour drive in snow just to see Blake and Reese.

Thanksgiving 08

Sorry it has been so long since our last blog. It is pretty bad when you are putting up your Thanksgiving photos after Christmas. This Thanksgiving was at my Mom and Dad's. It was as wonderful as it always is. My mom does most of the cooking and it ranks up their with any top chef and I swear my Dad makes the best turkey ever. Here are some of the pics from the days festivities.

Granny's Birthday at the T-Rex Restaurant

Today was Granny's birthday so we took her to the T-Rex restaurant at the Disney Village. We had a lot of fun. Blake was mesmerized by the ice glacier and all the moving dinosaurs. The best part is when the cast members sang Granny Happy Birthday. Boy was she surprised. Then Granny took Blake to Build a Dinosaur. It was a super fun day.

Clowning Around at Mickey's Very Merry

Dad and Blake were having fun with a sticker Blake had been given by a Cast Member. Blake would put it on his lips than dad would give him a kiss. then blake would put the sticker on Dad's lips and try and kiss dad. It sure made the line go faster and was a lot of fun to watch. it was one of those priceless moments.

The castle had the same design as last year but it is still breathtaking to see all the lights on the castle.

Last year Blake was scared of the rides. This year he sat on his own and held on to the handle bar. He even was pointing and yelling out the name of characters that he knew it was great!
The fireworks are always my favorite part of the night. This year was no exception. Both Blake and Reese fell asleep right before the fireworks so Jerrad and I could curl up on a bench and watch the fireworks. The kiddos never even woke up through all that noise. Another priceless moment.

Meeting characters at disney

Blake absolutely loved Mickey. from the moment Blake saw him he started laughing. Mickey gave him lots of hugs and kisses. He even let Blake squeeze his nose. Mickey also gave kisses and hugs to Reese who also smiled for Mickey.

Santa Claus is coming to Town

Here are some pics of Reese and Blake with Santa. Santa was at Disney for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Blake did not know what to think of Santa. What a difference a year makes.
