Granny's Birthday at the T-Rex Restaurant

Today was Granny's birthday so we took her to the T-Rex restaurant at the Disney Village. We had a lot of fun. Blake was mesmerized by the ice glacier and all the moving dinosaurs. The best part is when the cast members sang Granny Happy Birthday. Boy was she surprised. Then Granny took Blake to Build a Dinosaur. It was a super fun day.

Clowning Around at Mickey's Very Merry

Dad and Blake were having fun with a sticker Blake had been given by a Cast Member. Blake would put it on his lips than dad would give him a kiss. then blake would put the sticker on Dad's lips and try and kiss dad. It sure made the line go faster and was a lot of fun to watch. it was one of those priceless moments.

The castle had the same design as last year but it is still breathtaking to see all the lights on the castle.

Last year Blake was scared of the rides. This year he sat on his own and held on to the handle bar. He even was pointing and yelling out the name of characters that he knew it was great!
The fireworks are always my favorite part of the night. This year was no exception. Both Blake and Reese fell asleep right before the fireworks so Jerrad and I could curl up on a bench and watch the fireworks. The kiddos never even woke up through all that noise. Another priceless moment.

Meeting characters at disney

Blake absolutely loved Mickey. from the moment Blake saw him he started laughing. Mickey gave him lots of hugs and kisses. He even let Blake squeeze his nose. Mickey also gave kisses and hugs to Reese who also smiled for Mickey.

Santa Claus is coming to Town

Here are some pics of Reese and Blake with Santa. Santa was at Disney for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Blake did not know what to think of Santa. What a difference a year makes.

This weekend

This weekend the Butler family participated in the Autism Speaks 5k walk to raise awareness to the increasing numbers of children diagnosed with Autism. Above is the picture of part of the group that walked. We had a great time and learned lessons that words just can't express. Being a part of the walk reminds me of why I chose my profession.

THE MANY FACES OF REESE

It is funny how many facial expressions Reese has. In the span of about 5 minutes she gave us 4 different facial expressions.

Vetran's Day

We had a great time on our day off. We went to Harmony ate lunch after dad finished football practice then went to the park. Reese went to the Doctor in the morning for her 3 month check up. It is hard to believe she is 3 months old.

New pics and video of Reese and Blake

Blake loves to read to Reese and Reese smiles now everytime Blake talks to her. It is so much fun to see the 2 of them together now.

Here Blake is doing his Show me your muscles. He would not do touch down for me. Hopefully I will have that soon. There is also a clip of Reese. I was trying to get her talking but no luck. Hopefully I will have that video up soon.

Bonfire

The following are pics from the Harmony Bonfire. Blake had an awesome time flirting with the cheerleaders and shaking his pompoms.

trick or treat at the Armstrong's

We had a great time at papa and Grandma armstrong's house.

Happy Halloween

Dad was a Doctor in srubs, mom was a football coach, Blake was Peter Pan and Reese was Tinkerbell. I think next year we have have to be some characters from The Wizard of Oz. Jerrad would be a great scarecrow or tinman. :-)

Trick or treat at the Butler's

Blake and Reese had fun trick or treating at granny and papa's house.
