Happy 6th months

Reese turned 6 months this month. She has quite the little personality. It is so much fun to see how different she is from her brother. Her brother is still trying to get used to some things. He can be so sweet at times and other times he doesn't even want her to touch him.

random pics.

Here are just a few random pics from this week. It was very cold in the morning and we had to bundle up before we could leave the house in the morning. Blake was disappointed because he could not stay outside most of the day. he is defintely my son in the fact that he loves nature and being outdoors. It is hard to believe that Reese turns 6 months this coming week and blake turns 2 next month. They always tell you that time goes fast once you have your children. I can honestly say that I never would have dreamed that it would go this fast.

Weekend fun

The weekends seem to fly by faster and faster everytime I turn around. This month and last month seem to be the busiest we have ever had. It looks like the next 2 months will be just as busy as the previous month. We have had a lot of ups and downs this month. Grandma had open heart surgery and is currently in the hospital. I am scheduled to have surgery in March. There have been some wonderful ups such as watching Blake and Reese play outside and a quick tip to Hutchinson Island to see Grandma and Grandpa. Blake is still asking for CoCo a week later. I told him we were having a visitor this weekend and the next thing I know he was running to the door shouting CoCo. It was the cutest thing.

Where in the world is grandpa

PaPa had to go to India for 10 days so we took some pictures so he would not get home sick. My dad had a safe trip and came back with great stories and some very cool gifts for us and the children.

Jerrad's Birthday

Jerrad's Birthday was Jan. 16th and we had a small celebration at home with just the four of us. Jerrad had a weightlifting meet that night so it was a very busy night. Here are just a few pictures that the kids took for him. Blake and Reese gave daddy cards with clues to his birthday gift. Of course I think Blake thought Daddy's present was really a new toy for him.

Bear Crawls.

Training for football or walking like Mogli (the "man-cub" in Jungle Book)? We will just have to see. At any rate, Blake is always doing something new and different to keep himself and our family amused.

Happy 5 months to our Reese

Happy 5 months Reese. It is hard to believe that it was 5 months ago that you entered our lives. It has been an amazing journey and I can't wait to see what the next months and years bring.

This is the film that I have been waiting to catch for a few weeks now. Sorry it is so long, normally she rolls over a lot faster than this. I think our children now when i am taping them :-)

Reese's shoes and mom's sink

Okay these are just some shorts stories from December that I had to put on the website.
I had my first experience with plumbing this month. Mom and Dad graciously bought me a sick for Christmas, which I absolutely love. I called a plumber that my mom and dad had used in the past. They came out and gave me a qoute. Just under a 1,000 dollars they said. Okay but we are in a recession and there is no way we can afford that. Plus there is a problem when the installation is 3 times the actually sink. Jerrad my knight in shiny armour came to the rescue. He called around and found a plumber that could do it for under 200. So now I have my new pretty sink in. YEAHHHHHH!!!!
Now for the shoes. I had seen these shoes on a Racheal Zoe pick. I fell in love with them as soon as I found out they were named the Reese. After months of waiting I found them for 80% off plus free shipping and they only had one left and in the right size. Sometimes it is just fate. So I am putting them away for Reese. When she is older she will have a pair of betsy johnson vintage shoes. What more could a girl ask for. (Mom might have to wear them just once to see if they are okay).

December in Florida

It has actually been a hot december in Florida. The high's have been in the 80's most days and we cannot complain one bit. One day while on break we took the kids out and set them up at a picnic table with their umbrella so that they could paint and color. We had a great time outside. It was wonderful to spend time with our children. They grow up so quickly. Everytime I turn around our children have learned something new. Blake constantly has new words and new phrases that he says to us. Reese is starting to hold her bottle, sit up without support, eat stage 1 food, laugh, play with her new toys. Everyday is a new adventure with our children and I hope that never changes.

A visit from the Quentmeyers

We had a great time having a visit from the Quentmeyers. Blake loved all the attention and received some new great shirts. My personal favorite is the CIA shirt and I can't wait to put in the DEA shirt. We had a great night going out to the T-Rex restaurant at the disney village. Hope they can come down again and visit sometime soon.
